LTC Argiris began his journey as part of the Western Illinois University ARMY ROTC before transferring back towards the City and becoming part of the Loyola Army ROTC program to continue his Military Science studies.

 

He graduated with a degree in Political Science / Constitutional Law and his BOLC B schooling was Public Affairs.

Currently, LTC Argiris is the MEMS Academy Director for the US Volunteers and holds a Master MEMS with deployment flash (Sullivan, Indiana EF3 Tornado of March 2023).  He also has a Senior Cyber Defense skills badge, and is certified Search and Rescue.

LTC Argiris attributes his passion for service to the long line of from a longline of veterans in his family. His great-grandfather was in the Wisconsin 4th Engineers in World War I. His grandfather was among the first Navy Seabees created after Pearl Harbor, while his great-uncles served on a carrier at the Battle of Midway and a rifleman in K Co., 3rd BN, 317th INF, 80th ID, and both his parents met in ROTC.

For employment, LTC Argiris is a Legislative Liaison with the Illinois Governor's Office.  He has worked for a United States President, he is a dedicated member of his Church serving on both the Ushering and Security Committees, and was a news content developer for the Orthodox Christian Network.
